Ask & Share session on employee engagement

On March 26, AELIA hosted its first Ask & Share session of 2025, focusing on employee engagement. This 45-minute session took place online and brought together Lydia Mastori (Hellas Direct), Renata Pylarinou (Welcome Pickups), and Lia Kostopoulou (Elval).
The conversation revolved around key challenges companies face in engaging employees in L&D initiatives, as well as effective strategies the above 3 L&D Studio members have tried.
The core issues that were discussed, where the participants shared experiences and insights were:
💡A common challenge shared by most companies (irrespective of size or business sector): Employees want to participate in L&D but lack time
💡There are several practices that could be applied but what’s working has to be adapted to type of initiative, people profiles, company type of activity and size
💡A good start is to have realistic expectations on employee engagement level
