We hosted our Embark on L&D bootcamp for the L&D Studio members only at the premises of Orange Grove! Designed by Faye as Head of our L&D Design team, this bootcamp is tailored for professionals just starting their journey in L&D, offering hands-on practice in tackling L&D-related challenges through virtual cases.

Together with Vasiliki, Renata, Tonia, Vicky, Georgia V., and Georgia S., we dove into a case study on the fictional company Giraffe Ltd. In this scenario, we reviewed a communication programme created by Martinella, Giraffe’s Performance and Talent Development Specialist, after we collaboratively set evaluation criteria to assess the programme’s effectiveness.
We also co-designed an L&D intervention to build a self-paced learning system that incorporates AI in the flow of work, leveraging microlearning and peer learning.
The session also featured a pitching exercise in pairs, where participants practiced pitching their suggestions to fictitious HR Colleagues, attempting to convince those colleagues against their objections and/or reservations.
Finally, we wrapped up the bootcamp with 5-minute “speed networking” sessions to deepen connections among participants.
